Where does the name "sapin bleu" come from?
This is probably one of the most frequently asked question. “Sapin Bleu” is originally the name of the chalet where our studio is located.

Are you doing your own garments?
No… As a small independant brand we don’t have the necessary resources to create our own garments. But we carefully pick suppliers who work in an ethical and sustainable way.

What is screenprinting?
Screen printing, also known as silk screening or silkscreen printing, is the process of transferring a stencilled design onto a surface using a mesh screen, ink, and a squeegee (a rubber blade). The basic process of screen printing involves creating a stencil on a mesh screen and then pushing the ink to create and imprint the design on the below surface.

What is the "artist series"?
It is essentially our way to empower other artists and creative minds by providing a blank canvas for them to create without the hustle of producing and selling. In those collaborations we share all revenue fairly between them and us.
